Assume Nedit use only the user's configuration file, removing the ~/.nedit folder should fix any unexpected surprise from the old config files, but it doesnt. It appear that the copy/paste problem is limitted to Nedit only. Not to wonder off the topic, everything else in my current FC6 seems to work fine, except Nedit. Any way, I cant predict what conf or twicks etc I might be missing for a fresh install, when minimum downtime is required, upgrade is a better option. I typically have every other release as a fresh install. Why not do a fresh installation ?įresh install is always better if you have time to do all the settings again. I think your problem related to upgrading from FC4 to FC6. It works fine here under FC5 (not yet tried under FC6).
